Frances and Kelly

The Journey

In November 2011, Frances and Kelly met at a wedding in Baltimore, MD. Frances was a friend of the bride (Clare Audy) and Kelly was a friend of the groom (Ryan Audy). There were very few single people at the wedding. Frances and Kelly were placed at a table full of couples and ended up sitting next to each other. When they started talking, Frances made the mistake of asking Kelly to explain what he did for work at the FBI. What Kelly told Frances wasn't the type of exciting FBI work she was expecting to hear.

Frances stood up in the middle of Kelly talking to grab a drink (she brought one back for him too). When they both walked up to the buffet, Frances asked Kelly if he would dance with her later, to which he replied, “Of course.” When Kelly skipped over the crab cakes at the buffet, Frances questioned his manhood and asked herself, “What am I getting myself into with this guy?” They danced all night and ended up having a blast together. They exchanged telephone numbers and went on a date the following weekend despite Kelly's boring description of his job, lack of interest in crab cakes, and Frances' terrible dance moves.

During their first date, Kelly was nervous and avoided awkward moments by telling Frances random stories related to the pictures hanging in his apartment. Believe it or not, Frances was nervous too. Frances strongly blew out a candle in Kelly's apartment, spraying wax went all over the kitchen's granite counter tops. Additionally, Frances scuffed Kelly's hardwood floors with her heels and dropped pizza face down on one of his blankets. It was love from that moment forward. Frances and Kelly have been together for over two years and are extremely excited to see what the future holds for them.
